Ex-IDF General Predicts Iranian Regime Collapse Within Weeks

Former IDF Major General Eliezer Marom, known as "Cheney," has predicted that intense American economic pressure could lead to the collapse of the Iranian regime within weeks. He stated that the U.S. has shifted from kinetic warfare to economic warfare, implementing coordinated measures to prevent Iran from producing and importing goods, and blocking its ports, similar to actions taken in Gaza. Additionally, the U.S. is reportedly working to extract oil from the Strait of Hormuz and develop alternative routes, effectively strangling Iran's economy.

Marom acknowledged that Iran is attempting to circumvent economic sanctions, possibly through cryptocurrency, and continues its nuclear program in secret. However, he believes the economic pressure is severely damaging the Iranian government and significantly increases the likelihood of its imminent collapse. He cautioned that the international community, including Israel and the U.S., must remain vigilant, especially regarding Iran's nuclear activities, noting that intelligence gathering from afar has limitations and expressing concern about potential developments at Mount Makou.

Addressing the possibility of the U.S. ending its campaign against Iran while the nuclear threat persists, Marom asserted that Israel would have no choice but to act independently to maintain any achieved progress, both concerning ballistic missiles and the nuclear program. He stressed that Israel must be prepared for any scenario, including a sudden Iranian nuclear detonation, and expressed hope that contingency plans are in place. Marom concluded by stating that if he were Defense Minister, he would assure the Israeli public of the nation's readiness to respond to any threat, emphasizing that Israel possesses a powerful military response that could accelerate the Iranian regime's downfall.
