Eyal Berkovic Erupts on Radio Show, Calls Editor 'One-Sided'

Former football player Eyal Berkovic, known for his controversial statements, had a heated exchange during a live broadcast of the current affairs program he co-hosts on 103FM radio with journalist Erel Segal.

Berkovic directed his anger at the show's editor, Assaf, accusing him of being one-sided and demanding an objective editor. "Assaf, shut your mouth. Sit quietly. You are a one-sided editor. How can a program have a one-sided editor? I want an objective editor. It's a shame for the program, a shame for this radio station," Berkovic stated emphatically.

He further elaborated that listeners expect objectivity and that while his and Segal's sides are presented, the editor must remain impartial. Berkovic claimed the editor was "one-sided" and constantly whispered comments to Segal, likening him to a "gossip." He insisted the editor should not interject comments to either host.

Erel Segal disagreed with Berkovic's assessment of the editor, defending him by stating, "He is not a one-sided editor. We brought Meirav Ben Ari to the broadcast, why one-sided? We started the program with her." Segal also criticized Berkovic's behavior, calling it "disgusting" and stating, "You insult a person who cannot answer you. That's disgusting. You know why you insult? Because you come and constantly call me a liar."
