Foundation Laid for Vizhnitz Hasidic Study Hall in Ashdod

A cornerstone-laying ceremony was held for the "Yeshuos Moshe Vizhnitz" Hasidic study hall in Ashdod. The event marked the beginning of construction for the new religious center.

The ceremony involved the placement of a foundation stone and the sealing of a "foundation scroll" within the structure, a traditional practice for significant buildings in Jewish communities.

The study hall is named after Rabbi Moshe Hager, the fifth Vizhnitz Rebbe, who was known for his piety and leadership within the Vizhnitz Hasidic dynasty. The new institution is expected to serve as a center for Torah study and religious life for the Vizhnitz community in Ashdod.
