New Footage Reveals Details of Israeli Strike Attempt in Qatar

New footage has emerged on social media detailing the aftermath of an alleged Israeli assassination attempt in Doha, Qatar, which occurred on September 9, 2025. According to Turkish media reports, citing an internal Hamas investigation, Israel launched six consecutive strikes using 12 missiles. The target was a meeting of senior Hamas officials discussing a proposal from then-U.S. President Donald Trump. Hamas had implemented strict security protocols for the meeting, including disguises and the confiscation of personal devices, with attendees receiving secure phones.

Mamoun al-Hayya, son of Hamas negotiation team head Khalil al-Hayya, reportedly played a crucial role in saving the leaders. Shortly after their arrival, he insisted on moving the officials to a different building and reinforcing security measures. The meeting, discussing Trump's proposal, commenced at 2:12 PM. The Israeli attack began at 3:46 PM, striking, among other locations, the office and family home of Khalil al-Hayya. Mamoun al-Hayya was killed in the initial strike, along with Jihad Lubaid and other Hamas operatives. Al-Hayya's family members were injured, and one strike reportedly targeted a Qatari security unit.

Five minutes into the attack, an evacuation plan was activated. Senior Hamas members were separated and moved to various safe houses, while the injured were rescued and taken for medical treatment. The failed strike reportedly caused significant embarrassment in Israel, leading Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to apologize to President Trump in a phone call from the White House.
