Leading Rabbis Convene to Bolster Daily Mishnah Study Program

A gathering of prominent rabbis was held at the home of Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, a leading halachic authority, to mark the upcoming annual cycle of the 'Daily Mishnah Page' study program. This initiative encourages participants to study one page of Mishnah daily, enabling them to complete all six orders of the Mishnah within approximately one year. Tens of thousands of individuals across various communities in Israel and abroad are expected to celebrate the completion of this cycle.

The event, aimed at strengthening the study of the Mishnah, was led by Rabbi Sternbuch and attended by other distinguished rabbis, including Rabbi Yehoshua Eichenstein, the Rebbe of Bialla, Rabbi Binyamin Dovid Elyashiv, the Rebbe of Pinsk Karlin, Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen, Rabbi Yitzchak Shaul Kanievsky, and Rabbi Ben Zion Kook.

During the assembly, Rabbi Sternbuch praised the 'Daily Mishnah Page' program, encouraged continued study, and expressed appreciation for Rabbi Shmuel Halperin's efforts in public outreach and expanding the circle of learners. The participating rabbis emphasized the importance of daily study for acquiring broad and organized knowledge of oral Torah, citing the Talmudic saying, "In whom do you find the war of Torah? In him who holds bundles of Mishnah."

A new edition of the Mishnah, published by the 'Daily Mishnah Page' organization with commentary from the 'Oz v'Hadar' Torah institute, was presented. This edition is divided into three volumes and features a larger format.

The event also highlighted the 'Sichat HaTorah' initiative, which has administered 150,000 tests on the daily Mishnah study material, representing tens of thousands of hours of dedicated learning by numerous students of all ages. The 'Daily Mishnah Page' organization is preparing for the new cycle, anticipating the enrollment of thousands of additional learners.
