Midfielder Guy Hadida has officially been released by Israeli football club Ironi Tiberias after reaching a settlement with the team. The 31-year-old, who had two years remaining on his contract, will now become a free agent and can sign with another club even after the transfer window closes on September 16th.
Hadida had filed an urgent arbitration claim seeking immediate release from Tiberias following a three-month period of no contact between the player and the club. This dispute occurred amidst ongoing controversies surrounding the club involving alleged match-fixing and double contracts, which also implicated Hadida.
In August, Hadida received a three-month suspension from playing. Despite these issues, he was a key player for Ironi Tiberias last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 7 assists in the league.
