Israeli Broadcaster Criticizes Potential Leadership of Gantz and Netanyahu

Broadcaster Erez Gilead expressed strong reservations on Wednesday about potential future prime ministers, stating on Radio 103fm that it would be "irresponsible" to hand over the country's keys to Benny Gantz this year. Gilead, who has previously been critical of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, clarified his remarks when pressed by interviewer Shai Sharqi. While initially referring to Donald Trump as an example of wishful thinking, Gilead admitted that at times, he also felt similarly about Netanyahu.

Gilead explained that he often overlays his hopeful thoughts onto reality. The discussion also touched upon other political figures, with Erel Segal commenting that "the fact that he is a chubby bear does not make him a speaker of truth," though it is unclear who Segal was referring to.
