US Rushes Development of Superbomb to Penetrate Iran's Fortified Nuclear Bunker

Satellite imagery analysis reveals accelerated construction at Iran's suspected nuclear site, buried deep beneath granite rock at Mount Alvand, south of Tehran. Experts from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), in a CNN report, noted significant infrastructure expansion at the underground facility, believed to be a fortified shelter for Iran's nuclear program. Israeli intelligence has previously warned that Iran might transfer advanced centrifuges to this bunker for uranium enrichment.

U.S. President Donald Trump recently acknowledged the threat, stating the facility could be attacked "very soon" and that American intelligence is monitoring the area. However, the geological structure of the mountain presents a significant challenge, as current U.S. bunker-buster bombs may be incapable of penetrating the immense rock layer protecting the facility.

In response to the growing threat, the U.S. is reportedly fast-tracking the development of next-generation armor-piercing bombs. Shortly before recent escalations, the Pentagon awarded an emergency contract for a special project at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Documents indicate this project involves live-fire tests simulating strikes on deeply buried nuclear facilities, with excavation work at White Sands mirroring the granite conditions at the Iranian site.

Defense Department officials have reportedly held extensive discussions to formulate operational plans for completely destroying Iran's underground nuclear sites. Meanwhile, ongoing construction at the Iranian facility, including fortified tunnel entrances and internal roads, suggests it is not yet ready for full enrichment operations but is intended to become a hub for centrifuge assembly or uranium enrichment beyond international reach.
