Israeli singer Agam Buhbut and actor Bar Brimer announced their engagement on Tuesday after more than five years together. The couple shared the news with their followers on Instagram, expressing their joy and gratitude. "Thank God for this moment, we can't calm down since yesterday, we love you," Brimer wrote.

Buhbut posted a photo of Brimer praying in a taxi the morning after the proposal, captioning it, "Good morning, we are engaged." Brimer shared the same photo, humorously adding, "First prayer as fiancés."

The proposal took place at sea during a vacation with friends. Brimer had previously spoken about his growing religious observance, stating it made him a better partner.

The engagement ring, designed by jeweler Lior Douek, features a 2.5-carat diamond and is valued at over 100,000 shekels (approximately $27,000 USD). Douek noted that Brimer instructed him to create a ring with a rare, large, white, and clear cushion-cut stone, regardless of the cost.
