Toddler Hospitalized in Moderate Condition After Scorpion Sting in Beersheba
A baby approximately one year old was stung by a yellow scorpion in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba. Emergency medical services received a report about the infant being brought to a local clinic after the apparent sting.
Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided initial medical treatment to the child at the clinic. They then transported the toddler to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
The infant is currently in moderate condition and is receiving further medical care at the hospital. The yellow scorpion is a venomous species found in the region.
