Man Sentenced to Life for Murdering Woman in Front of Daughter
Nidal Dagher, 33, from the town of Rama, has been sentenced to life imprisonment plus an additional four years for the murder of 30-year-old Rasha Sitawi, who was killed in front of her 10-year-old daughter. Sitawi, a divorcee and mother of three, was murdered on November 25. According to the indictment, the deceased divorced her husband in July 2020 and moved with her three children from Rama to the town of Merar. Police previously suspected that another party had hired Dagher to carry out the shooting. In addition to the prison sentence, Dagher was ordered to pay 258,000 shekels in compensation to the victim's children and brother.
