38 Parties Submit Knesset Election Lists Ahead of 2026 Vote

The deadline for submitting candidate lists for the 26th Knesset elections has passed, with 38 parties officially registering with the Central Elections Committee. The upcoming election cycle features a mix of established political factions alongside new alliances, recently formed parties, and smaller lists aiming to gain a foothold.

Among the notable lists are the Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, and the National Unity party, headed by Benny Gantz. Other prominent parties include Yisrael Beiteinu, led by Avigdor Lieberman, and the Religious Zionism and Identity parties, which have united under the requested letter 'ט'.

Newer political entities and alliances have also emerged. The "Together" list, featuring Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett, has requested the letters 'ב/רק'. The "Democrats" have requested 'אמת', while "Amcha Israel" is represented by Ofer Winter and has requested the letter 'ך'.

Ultra-Orthodox parties are also participating, with United Torah Judaism requesting 'ג'. The far-right Otzma Yehudit party, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, has requested the letter 'ב'. The Arab parties include the Joint List and Ra'am, led by Mansour Abbas.

Other registered lists include "Yashar!" requesting 'דרך' and associated with Gadi Eisenkot, and the "Reservists and Economic" list requesting 'די/צ/י' and associated with Yoaz Hendel. The specific letters requested by each party are part of the official registration process.
