Analyst Claims Israeli Left Prioritizes Netanyahu's Ouster Over Enemy Defeat

During an appearance on Channel 14's "The Patriots" program, analyst Moshe Cohen Eliya asserted that the Israeli left prioritizes removing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from power over decisively defeating Israel's enemies. Cohen Eliya argued that the left has repeatedly demonstrated this preference, even while adversaries remain a threat.

He stated that the left's actions and rhetoric throughout the war and the past three years highlight their priorities, posing the question of whether they hate Israel's enemies more or prefer Netanyahu out of the picture. "Time after time, the Israeli left has proven, and even more so the extreme fringes there, that they prefer Netanyahu out of the game first, even though our enemies have not yet been defeated," Cohen Eliya said.

The analyst also linked the war's conclusion to upcoming elections in the United States and Israel in November. He suggested that Netanyahu's statements hint at a dependency on these electoral outcomes. "We are waiting with this event until November, after the elections both in the United States and here at home, and there the question will be who will actually finish this," Cohen Eliya estimated, concluding that the issue of Netanyahu's political future is intrinsically tied to the broader conflict narrative.
