Global Aliyah Summit Addresses Repatriation to Israel Online

On Tuesday, September 8, YnetGlobal and "Vesti" hosted the "Global Aliyah Live Summit," an international online event focused on Jewish immigration to Israel. The summit, broadcast live from the Ynet studio, featured interviews and discussions aimed at individuals of Jewish descent worldwide considering aliyah. Leaders from prominent organizations supporting aliyah and integration, along with successful immigrants, participated in the event. The broadcast was conducted in Russian, English, and French, with a dedicated hour for the Russian-speaking audience available on video.

The summit received support from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, The Jewish Agency (Sohnut), the World Zionist Organization, the Keren Hayesod fund, "Ofek Israeli" and "Nefesh B'Nefesh" organizations, the Jerusalem Municipality, Bank Leumi, Clalit Health Services, "Masa" organization, and Magen David Adom emergency services.

During the Russian-language segment, Anna Litrovnik, Director General of the Ministry of Aliyah for Central Israel, detailed services and benefits for new immigrants. Bella Lvovich, head of the World Zionist Organization's Aliyah Promotion Department, discussed connections with diaspora Jewish communities and aliyah support. Dr. Eli Rimmer, head of Clalit's central clinic in Kiryat Shmona, explained the health services available in Russian and offered advice on preparing medical documents. Stand-up comedian Ilya Axelrod shared his personal aliyah experience with humor, and Reuven Grinberg, director of "Masa" Russian-speaking programs, presented youth programs, including a film featuring "Masa" alumni.

The English-language portion included addresses from Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer, The Jewish Agency Chairman Maj. Gen. (res.) Doron Almog, and World Zionist Organization Chairman Yaakov Hagoel.
