Joint List Submits Election Papers, Aims to Oust Government
The Joint List alliance will submit its election papers today, according to Amjad Shbeita, secretary of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality. Shbeita stated in an exclusive interview with Radio Al-Shams that the heads of the three constituent lists, Ahmad Tibi, Yousef Jabareen, and Sami Abu Shehadeh, will personally handle the submission.
"Today, we turn the page and announce the start of a campaign to call on the masses to vote, to bring down the right-wing government, and to secure 10 seats or more," Shbeita declared. He denied any significant disagreements among the lists, attributing any issues to minor logistical and technical matters.
Addressing concerns about a delayed election campaign launch, Shbeita expressed confidence that there is still ample time before the elections. He concluded by emphasizing the need for unified efforts to defeat the current right-wing government, marking the beginning of a new phase.
