Hapoel Rishon LeZion has been one of the busiest clubs in the National League transfer window as it continues its bid to return to the top flight. After narrowly missing promotion in the final rounds last season, the club is reinforcing heavily and has already added Shahar Amsalem, Ronen Peretz, Shai Constantin, Shavit Elgabi and Uri Tzadun.
On Monday night, the team reached agreements with two more recruits. Aharon Shpso, who played for Ironi Tiberias in the Premier League last season, and Dolev Azoulay, formerly of Hapoel Nof HaGalil, both finalized terms and will join the squad.
The club is also negotiating with Ihaab Abu Elshikh, who played for Hapoel Ra'anana last season, and with Eve Ransom, who left Hapoel Jerusalem. Ransom is also in talks with Kiryat Yam, and no deal has been completed yet.
One key player who will stay is Eligius Jankauskas. The Lithuanian striker, who arrived after finishing as the top scorer in his home country, will enter his second season at the club and is expected to lead the attack.
