Hapoel Rishon LeZion Drops Top-Earning Player Elian Rohana From Plans Amid Transfer Interest

Hapoel Rishon LeZion's coach Elad Brown and sporting director Avi Pitosi informed their highest-paid Israeli player, Elian Rohana, that he is not part of the club's plans for the upcoming season. Rohana, who earns a net salary of 33,000 shekels per month until the end of the next season, was told the team does not intend to field him in any matches. Meanwhile, Ahli Nazareth, newly promoted to the National League, has expressed immediate interest in signing Rohana and offered to cover 20,000 shekels of his salary. Rohana has stated he is unwilling to forgo any portion of his current salary and remains undecided about transferring to Ahli Nazareth. Rishon LeZion currently has no plans to cover his salary and he continues to train with the team. Rohana joined Rishon LeZion in January from Bnei Yehuda. Additionally, for their upcoming Toto Cup match against M.S. Kafr Qasim, Rishon LeZion will rest players Liel Chana, striker Ezekiel Henty, and goalkeeper Shahar Amsalem.
