Hapoel Rishon LeZion Excludes Top-Earning Player Elian Ruhana From Plans Amid Transfer Interest

Hapoel Rishon LeZion's coach Elad Brown and sporting director Avi Pitosi have informed Elian Ruhana, the club's highest-paid Israeli player, that he is not part of their plans for the upcoming season. Ruhana, who earns a net salary of 33,000 shekels per month until the end of the next season, was told the club does not intend to field him in any matches.

Ahi Nazareth, recently promoted to the National League, has expressed immediate interest in signing Ruhana and has offered to cover 20,000 shekels of his current salary. However, Ruhana has stated he does not want to forfeit any part of his salary and remains undecided about transferring. Meanwhile, Rishon LeZion is not willing to cover his salary if he leaves, and he continues to train with the team. Ruhana joined Rishon LeZion in January from Bnei Yehuda.

Additionally, Rishon LeZion plans to rest key players Liel Chana, striker Ezekiel Henty, and goalkeeper Shahar Amsalem in their upcoming Toto Cup match against M.S. Kafr Qasim.
