Regavim Movement Slams UK Sanctions as 'Antisemitic Interference'

Israel's Regavim Movement responded Tuesday to the United Kingdom's imposition of economic sanctions, calling the move "insolent" and an attempt to interfere with Israeli sovereignty. The movement stated that Britain, instead of addressing its "internal collapse and chaos in its streets," is "confused" and that "the days of the White Paper are long gone."

Regavim further characterized the UK government's declaration as a "blatant violation of Israeli sovereignty" and a continuation of a "century-old hostile antisemitic policy." The organization drew a parallel between the UK's actions in September 1939, when it allegedly closed its gates to war refugees and sent Jews to their deaths, and its current stance in September 2026, which Regavim claims aims to establish a "Palestinian terror state" posing an existential threat to Jews in their homeland.

The movement also alleged that the UK government itself engages in illegal activities in Judea and Samaria, citing its funding of illegal structures in violation of international agreements. Regavim further claimed that hundreds of millions invested by Britain in the "corrupt Palestinian Authority" are being channeled into education for murder and terror. The movement urged the Israeli government to "immediately halt all foreign and aggressive intervention in the territories of the homeland."
