Journalist Ayala Hasoon Denies Entering Politics, Addresses Netanyahu Report

Veteran Israeli journalist Ayala Hasoon has responded to a recent report alleging that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a warning from the United Arab Emirates shortly before the October 7th attacks. Speaking on the radio station 103FM, Hasoon urged caution, stating, "Before we turn a headline into a fact, we need to check if it is true."

Hasoon firmly rejected speculation about her entering the political arena, asserting, "I am not a politician. I am a journalist, a real journalist, and I have no interest in going into politics." She elaborated that she has not spoken with Netanyahu for a long time and, while acknowledging that everyone receives offers, she is not suited for politics. "I don't have enough evil in me, I don't have enough cruelty in me. I love my country and I fight for it well from my position," she added.

The report in question, which Hasoon addressed, claimed that the UAE had warned Netanyahu about an impending threat, a detail that has raised questions following the Hamas attacks.
