This debris cascaded into a river system along the border, causing a flash flood that swept away homes, roads, bridges, and vehicles. The disaster has resulted in approximately 1,500 fatalities and left around 5,000 people missing.

UEFA's decision to honor the Nepal flood victims while remaining silent on the October 7 massacre has been widely criticized as a double standard, highlighting what many perceive as European hypocrisy regarding the events in Israel.
