Israel Davis Cup Team Announced for Crucial Slovenia Match

The Israeli Davis Cup team roster has been announced for their upcoming World Group II tie against Slovenia, scheduled for September 18-19 in Ljubljana. The Israeli squad, led by Captain Yoni Erlich, includes Amit Weintraub (ranked 598 globally), Or Ram (729), Ofek Shimunov (937), Daniel Zuckerman (131 in doubles), and Ben Venter. This marks the first senior national team call-up for 22-year-old Venter, who plays for Arkansas University. Slovenia's team, captained by Grega Zemlja, features Filip Jeff Planinsek (502), Bor Artnak (505), Žiga Šeško (704), and Sebastian Dominko (966).
