Hadassah Medical Center CEO Prof. Yoram Weiss to Continue Tenure
Prof. Yoram Weiss will continue to serve as the CEO of the Hadassah Medical Center for at least the next two years. The decision to extend his term was made by the Hadassah Board of Directors and the Women's Zionist Organization of America (Hadassah) about a year ago, and its recent public announcement has been met with congratulations from the medical center's staff.
Ammon Brokian, chairman of the Hadassah Workers' Organization, sent a letter to all employees praising the decision. He emphasized its importance for the Hadassah staff, as well as for the healthcare system and medical services in Jerusalem. Brokian described the news as significant and joyful, noting that Hadassah has achieved successes in various areas during Prof. Weiss's current tenure.
Brokian further stated in his letter that the continuity in Hadassah's leadership requires employees to continue working with excellence and dedication. He added that Hadassah has undergone a significant positive transformation during the current term, achieving successes across all fields and levels. He concluded by expressing confidence that Prof. Weiss will lead the institution to further important achievements in the coming years.
