Exxon Vision Secures First Major Order for Drone Defense System

Exxon Vision, an Israeli defense AI company traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, announced its first significant order for its ForceField anti-drone system. The initial binding order from a local defense entity is valued at approximately NIS 6 million (including VAT), with options to expand the contract by an additional NIS 9 million, potentially bringing the total value to NIS 15 million. Deliveries are scheduled over the next 12 months.

The ForceField system, launched in July, is designed to protect maneuvering ground forces from low-altitude aerial threats, particularly FPV (first-person view) attack drones, which have become a major battlefield concern. Unlike electronic warfare solutions, ForceField integrates computer vision, AI, and autonomy to detect, identify, track, and neutralize threats in real-time, even against advanced drones resistant to jamming. The system utilizes existing weapon systems on the vehicle, offering a potentially lower cost per interception and simpler integration compared to dedicated interceptors.

This order represents a substantial milestone for Exxon Vision, especially considering its recent financial performance. The company's total revenue for the first half of 2026 was approximately NIS 11.2 million. If the full NIS 15 million order is realized, it would equate to about 15% of the company's current market capitalization of NIS 97 million and exceed its entire revenue from the first half of the year. The guaranteed portion of the order is NIS 6 million, with the remaining NIS 9 million contingent on customer options.

The stock reacted positively to the news, initially jumping about 4.7% before settling near its previous day's closing price. The company's stock has seen a significant decline year-to-date, down approximately 29%, though it has recovered about 12% in the past month. The ForceField system operates in a 'Man-on-the-Loop' mode, requiring human operator confirmation for each neutralization.

The order comes during the tenure of relatively new CEO Neri Tzin, who took over in February 2026. Tzin previously led Cyberbit for eight years, a background seen as relevant for Exxon Vision's transition from smaller orders to larger contracts. Prior to this, Exxon Vision had secured smaller orders, including a NIS 2 million order for its EdgeUAV system in October 2025 and an expansion of an order from Leonardo DRS in January 2026.
