Israeli singer-songwriter Avitar Banai has released a new song titled "Heartbeat" to mark the new year. The song delves into themes of faith, introspection, and the search for unity in a contradictory world. Alongside the song's release, Banai shared a personal text explaining the inspiration behind the lyrics and his understanding of "being one."

Banai described "being one" as achieving peace by transforming opposing forces into something generative rather than conflicting. He emphasized that this unity begins internally, stating, "Being one is stopping fighting with myself. It is being diverse but not torn."

He further elaborated on the desire for genuine presence in every moment, free from distracting thoughts. "It is being within what I am doing. Not doing one thing and thinking about another. Without panic," he wrote.
