Retailer Warns Customers of Fake Kenneth Cole Website
The Mashbir retail chain has issued a warning to its customers regarding a fraudulent website impersonating the official Kenneth Cole brand in Israel. The fake site uses the brand's logo, name, and familiar design, potentially misleading consumers into making illegitimate purchases and exposing them to the theft of personal and credit card information.
The Mashbir clarified that the fraudulent website is not affiliated with Kenneth Cole or the Mashbir chain itself. They urged the public not to make purchases on the site or enter any personal or payment details. The company is actively working with relevant authorities to have the fake website removed.
Galit Pelach, Deputy CEO of Kenneth Cole Israel, stated, "It is important for us to protect our customers and allow them to purchase with confidence. We are working to remove the fake website and urge the public to be vigilant and make purchases only through the brand's official channels."
The Mashbir advises consumers to carefully check website addresses before making purchases and to avoid entering personal or credit card details on sites not identified as official brand channels.
