Babov Rebbe to Visit Israel Amid Conscription Concerns

The Grand Rebbe of Babov 45, currently residing in the United States, has announced plans to visit the Holy Land during the upcoming winter. The decision comes in response to the conscription decree impacting many yeshiva students, which prevented numerous young men from traveling to Israel for the High Holidays in September.

During a special inspirational talk delivered from his US residence to hundreds of his followers in Israel, the Rebbe expressed his intention to undertake an uplifting journey to Israel. He acknowledged the complex situation in the Holy Land, particularly the looming conscription order that has barred many yeshiva students and scholars from traveling to be with their communities during the month of Tishrei and the subsequent holidays, as they have done annually.

To address this, the Rebbe stated he would personally travel to Israel to encourage, strengthen, and support the students and scholars facing the challenges of the current era and its decrees. A central event of the visit will be a special "elevation Shabbat" led by the Rebbe, aimed at uniting the Hasidim, bolstering their spirits, and enhancing their spiritual standing.

The announcement has generated immense excitement and relief among Babov-45 Hasidim in Israel, especially among the yeshiva students, who are eagerly anticipating the Rebbe's arrival.
