Agudat Yisrael Faction Appoints 14 New Members to Party Institutions

The national council of the Agudat Yisrael party has approved the appointment of 14 new members to its institutions, representing the Shlomi Emunim faction. The appointments were made based on a proposal submitted by the faction's chairman, MK Meir Porush.

The newly appointed members include local representatives from across Israel, reflecting the diversity of Agudat Yisrael's communities. Prominent figures from major Haredi cities such as Beitar Illit, Bnei Brak, Beit Shemesh, Modi'in Illit, Jerusalem, Elad, Tiberias, and Haifa are among those named.

Notable appointees include Gedalya Eisenstein, Deputy Mayor of Beitar Illit; Yitzchak Meir Baram, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem; Shimon Goldberg, Acting Mayor of Beit Shemesh; Pinchas Gross, City Council member in Elad; Baruch Dick, City Council member in Tiberias; Yosef Yitzchak Yaakovobovitz, Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak; Avraham Levin, community representative in Bnei Brak; Eliezer Lutskin, City Council member in Beitar Illit; Nachman Neiman, City Council member in Modi'in Illit; Shlomo Feder, City Council member in Bnei Brak; Avraham Nachman Frankel, City Council member in Beit Shemesh; Avraham Stern, City Council member in Haifa; Uzi Shalom, City Council member in Beitar Illit and youth representative; and David Spitzer, City Council member in Beitar Illit.

MK Meir Porush stated that the new appointments will broaden the representation of the Shlomi Emunim faction to encompass various segments of the general Hasidic public from across the country. He added that these new members will bring important additional perspectives to the decision-making process.
