Tel Aviv Restaurant Group NONO Expands Beyond City Limits
The NONO Group is expanding its flagship restaurant brands, Takeria and GDB, beyond Tel Aviv for the first time, with two new branches set to open in early 2027. One new Takeria will be located in Kiryat Ono at the Reisfeld complex, a neighborhood commercial center. This branch will offer the brand's signature dishes like fish tacos and beef burritos, and aims to serve a wider delivery area due to its proximity to Tel Hashomer hospital and major transportation routes. The design will echo the original Tel Aviv Takeria but be adapted to the new location's character. The expansion also coincides with NONO's launch of an independent delivery system to improve control over delivery times and offer club member benefits.
Concurrently, the GDB burger brand will open its first branch outside Tel Aviv in Ramat Gan, near Tel Hashomer. This new location will be in a historic building, originally constructed before Israel's establishment and designed in the style of Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye. The building, which previously housed the legendary Migashim restaurant, will undergo significant renovations to preserve its original architectural features while adapting it for GDB's high-volume operations. The Ramat Gan branch will feature ample seating, parking, and easy access from main roads and nearby residential areas.
Takeria has been operating in Tel Aviv since 2012, with existing branches on Leventine and Nirim streets. GDB, established about six years ago, specializes in dry-aged beef burgers and targets a discerning clientele. This expansion marks a significant step for the NONO Group, as its main brands venture into new cities within the Gush Dan region, aiming to establish a presence beyond the Tel Aviv market.
