Erdogan Accuses Israel of Triggering Iran War, Sabotaging Peace Deal

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sharply criticized Israel, accusing it of initiating the conflict with Iran and causing regional instability. Erdogan stated that the "price of this war, triggered by Israel's provocations and maneuvers, is paid not only by the Iranian people and our brotherly Gulf nations, but by everyone, whether directly involved or not." He further alleged that Israel sabotaged the "Islamabad agreement," which he described as an effort to de-escalate regional tensions. According to Erdogan, "Israel's lies and acts of sabotage" prevented the agreement's implementation, despite it offering the region a much-needed respite. The Turkish leader also condemned a "radical mentality" that views any possibility of peace as a threat, warning that the region's crises will persist as long as this approach continues.
