Turkish President Erdogan Warns Israel Against Attacks, Affirms Readiness for War

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a direct warning to Israel, stating that while Ankara seeks peace, it will not hesitate to enter a war if attacked. Speaking during a military parade commemorating last year's invasion, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey desires global peace but is prepared to defend itself vigorously if provoked. "We are not talking about war, but about peace and achieving global peace," he said, adding that Turkey will not flee from war if it comes to that.

Erdogan also addressed Turkey's recent defense alliance with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, referring to it as the "Makkah Defense Agreement," which former U.S. President Donald Trump praised as a significant development. The agreement aims to strengthen regional security cooperation among the three Muslim-majority countries.

Regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Erdogan claimed that Hamas is upholding its commitments, while Israel continues its military strikes. He reiterated Turkey's commitment to supporting Gaza through diplomatic pressure to halt the fighting and humanitarian assistance.
