Lemaanchem Organization Strengthens Public Healthcare Through Hospital Visits
The Lemaanchem organization, led by Chairman Yossi Erblich, has conducted a series of professional visits to three major Clalit healthcare facilities in recent months. These meetings, held at the Emek Medical Center in Afula, Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, and Schneider Children's Medical Center, aimed to bolster public medicine, deepen collaborations, and promote new medical solutions.
At Schneider Children's Medical Center, Lemaanchem's leadership met with hospital director Prof. Efrat Baron-Harlev and senior staff. A key focus was an initiative to establish a specialized center for treating eating disorders in children and adolescents, an area facing significant demand and long waiting times. This project is being spearheaded by Lemaanchem President Prof. Yosef Press, former director of Schneider, and former Director-General of the Ministry of Health Prof. Chezy Levy.
At Emek Medical Center, hospital director Dr. Maor Maman hosted the Lemaanchem delegation. Discussions and tours centered on the hospital's development and expanded medical capabilities in the north, aligning with Lemaanchem's efforts to strengthen healthcare in peripheral areas and improve access to advanced medical treatment.
At Meir Medical Center, the Lemaanchem group met with Center Director Prof. Yaakov Chen, hospital management, and senior physicians. The visit highlighted advancements in research, innovation, services, and infrastructure, along with tours of medical departments and an introduction to the staff's work.
"We seek to connect the knowledge and experience accumulated at Lemaanchem with the excellent public medicine operating in Israel's hospitals," stated Yossi Erblich. "Meetings with hospital managements and senior physicians allow us to understand capabilities firsthand, promote new medical solutions, and help patients find the right professional care. Strengthening public hospitals, in both central and peripheral areas, is a core part of our mission."
