Otzma Yehudit Party Finalizes Knesset List With New Appointments

Otzma Yehudit party leader Itamar Ben-Gvir has announced that Yishai Fleischer will be placed in the 12th position on the party's list for the upcoming Knesset elections. Fleischer, a member of the Efrat council and the international spokesperson for those renewing the Jewish settlement in Hebron, is a prominent pro-Israel advocate who frequently appears in international media. He has a significant online following, with over 300,000 YouTube subscribers, and has defended Ben-Gvir in interviews, including on Piers Morgan's show.

Fleischer's work in Hebron focuses on strengthening the Cave of the Patriarchs as a site of pilgrimage and bringing journalists and public figures to the city. He has also been involved in restoring biblical heritage sites and promoting aliyah, immigration to Israel, drawing from his own experience as a former Soviet refusenik's son who immigrated from the United States. He is fluent in Hebrew, English, and Russian and holds a law degree from Cardozo School of Law in New York.

Fleischer's inclusion follows other recent placements announced by Ben-Gvir. Ben-Gvir himself will be first on the list, with Tally Gottlieb expected to be second and Yitzhak Wasserlauf third. Minister of Heritage Amichai Eliyahu is slated for the fourth spot. Eliyahu, son of Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, has focused on heritage preservation and developing heritage sites in Judea and Samaria during his tenure.

Additionally, Rabbi Yosef Goldberg, a Chabad activist and co-founder of a community in Kfar Chabad, will be placed ninth on the list. Goldberg, 39, has served as an advisor to ministers and Knesset members and worked with various government ministries.
