Cement Truck Plunges Off Cliff After Driver's Daring Escape
A heavy cement truck lost control and plunged off a cliff in the northern Samaria region on Monday afternoon. The driver, realizing the brakes had failed, managed to leap from the vehicle seconds before it crashed violently into a concrete barrier and tumbled down the slope. The dramatic escape was captured on security camera footage, which has since gone viral.
The incident occurred around 10:25 AM when the truck entered a curve at high speed, causing panic among bystanders. The video shows the truck veering across lanes with no apparent ability to brake. The driver made a split-second decision to jump from the cab just before the truck impacted the low concrete wall at the edge of the cliff.
The force of the collision completely destroyed the concrete barrier, leaving the front of the truck suspended in the air over the slope.
