Natalie Dadon Launches Women's "Eloka" Community with Jerusalem Pilgrimage

Social activist and lecturer Natalie Dadon launched a new women's community called ELOKA on Sunday evening in Jerusalem. The community aims to foster connections among diverse Israeli women and strengthen Jewish identity and heritage. The launch coincided with a women's pilgrimage for "Selichot" (penitential prayers) that traversed Jerusalem's Nachlaot alleys, Mahane Yehuda market, and culminated at the Western Wall plaza.

Dadon, who has undergone a personal spiritual journey in recent years, embracing religious observance, is leading the new initiative. The ELOKA community's inaugural event began with a spiritual journey through Jerusalem during the month of Elul, leading participants through the Mahane Yehuda market and Nachlaot alleys, followed by a tour of the Western Wall tunnels. The pilgrimage reached its peak at midnight in the Western Wall plaza, where the women united for prayer and a shared Selichot service.

"This is intended to create a female space of faith, tradition, and connection among women from all walks of Israeli society, especially in the days before the New Year," Dadon explained. The ELOKA community seeks to deepen the connection to Jewish identity and enhance unity among women from various sectors.

Previously known for her modeling and entertainment career, Dadon has become a prominent figure in Israeli public discourse, focusing on spiritual and social activism. She has recently signed a contract with Channel 14 for a weekly women's program and participated in various outreach projects. The ELOKA community is envisioned as another platform to reinforce Jewish identity and bring together women from different backgrounds. Dadon plans to continue organizing events for ELOKA to build a strong community focused on Jewish tradition and identity.
