Sammy Ofer Stadium Launches Podcast Studio for Visitors
Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa has launched an innovative podcast studio, "Sami Podcast," on its sixth floor, allowing visitors to become content creators. The studio offers a professional recording and filming environment with views of the pitch and stands, where participants can share personal stories and memories. Former player Reuven Atar and media personality Rafael Kabesa will host interviews, turning visitors into the stars of their own episodes.
The stadium is offering various packages for different events, including birthdays, team-building activities, family gatherings, and even weddings, providing a unique, professionally documented keepsake beyond typical smartphone photos. A new lounge area overlooking the field has also been established near the studio.
Lior Peri, CEO of Sammy Ofer Stadium, stated that the "Sami Podcast" studio elevates the stadium's role as a hub for sports, culture, and events by enabling guests to share their personal narratives. He emphasized the initiative's aim to connect the venue, people, and content, creating lasting experiences.
This podcast studio is part of a broader strategy to transform Sammy Ofer Stadium into a vibrant entertainment destination, active even on non-game days. Further development includes a large culinary complex spanning approximately 1,200 square meters, set to open in early 2027 on the ground floor. This complex, developed by "Asfan Group," will feature three prominent brands: Vivino, Zuzubara, and DeliNo. The 17-year agreement is valued at around 2.9 million shekels annually. These commercial developments are key components of a larger plan to develop about 7,500 square meters of retail space, aiming to make the stadium a major leisure and entertainment center for Haifa residents and visitors.
