Palestinian Terrorist Stabs Israeli Farmer in West Bank, Flees

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed a 20-year-old Israeli farmer on Monday morning at the Ma'oz Yehuda farm in the West Bank, near the village of Ozin. The attacker arrived in a Palestinian commercial vehicle, exited with a drawn knife, asked the victim about his weapon, and then proceeded to stab him. The victim, Natanel ben Sarah, a resident of Migdal HaEmek, was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in moderate to serious condition. His family has requested prayers for his recovery.

The terrorist fled the scene in his vehicle. Security forces immediately launched an extensive manhunt, involving units such as Dovdevan, Unit 636, and the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit, and imposed a closure on nearby villages. The knife used in the attack and the terrorist's mobile phone, which may have fallen during his escape and helped identify him, were found at the scene.

Initial reports suggest the wounded farmer managed to treat himself partially before returning to his vehicle, where his wife provided first aid, including applying a tourniquet, until emergency services arrived. MDA paramedics and IDF medical personnel treated the victim before his evacuation. MDA paramedic Aviel Mamlia described finding the victim conscious with multiple stab wounds.

Head of the Binyamin Regional Council and Chairman of the Yesha Council, Israel Gantz, stated that the attack highlights the vulnerability of farms and settlers on the frontier. He emphasized the need for a strong, offensive response to terrorism, coupled with continued strengthening of settlements and Israeli presence in the area. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich echoed these sentiments, sending well wishes to the injured and reinforcing the importance of developing settlements in Judea and Samaria as Israel's security buffer.
