Israeli Energy Firm Airanji Tech Raises Over $11 Million in Private Placement
Airanji Tech Ltd., an Israeli energy company specializing in compressed air energy storage (CAES) and energy project development, announced on Monday it has secured approximately NIS 42.7 million (around $11.5 million USD) through a private capital raise from a group of investors. The agreement involves investors purchasing over 7 million ordinary shares at NIS 6.03 per share and receiving nearly 7.5 million non-tradable options exercisable at NIS 8 per share. This funding round is subject to several conditions, including board and shareholder approval, as well as stock exchange authorization.
This marks Airanji Tech's second significant capital raise in less than a year, following a NIS 50 million placement approved in December 2025. The company stated the funds will be used to advance its strategic plan, focusing on promoting CAES projects in Europe, expanding battery-based energy storage initiatives, and growing its planning, supervision, and construction services in Israel.
Airanji's Chairman, retired Major General Yiftah Ron-Tal, expressed confidence that the investment, which includes participation from existing stakeholders and senior management, strengthens the company's financial standing and its leadership in the energy storage sector. CEO Tal Raz highlighted the raise as a strong vote of confidence in Airanji's strategy and recent performance, enabling the acceleration of growth opportunities in both Europe and Israel, encompassing CAES projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) activities.
The fundraising follows a series of recent business milestones for Airanji. In the first half of 2026, the company reported a balance sheet growth to approximately NIS 127 million from NIS 56 million at the end of 2025. In May, Airanji acquired a controlling 51% stake in Green-Go, an EPC company. Additionally, an agreement was reached with Nofar Energy in Israel for solar and storage projects on sports fields and parking lots, potentially worth up to NIS 200 million for construction work, with a possible equity partnership in future projects.
