Lebanese Reports: Israeli Strike Kills Nine Near Nabatieh

Arab media reported on Monday that at least nine people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon. The strike reportedly hit the village of Rumaan.

In parallel, the Israeli military conducted strikes against Hamas infrastructure in Gaza following the detonation of an explosive device near the "yellow line," a term often used to refer to the border area. The IDF stated that its forces targeted Hamas terror infrastructure in response to the incident.

Meanwhile, security and rescue forces launched a large-scale security exercise in the Eilat and Arava region. The drill simulated extreme scenarios, including those similar to the October 7th attacks, as well as regional escalation and surprise attacks. Authorities noted that increased movement of security forces, operational vehicles, aircraft, and naval vessels would be observed throughout the day, emphasizing that the exercise was pre-planned and posed no security threat.
