Kfar Manda Reconciliation Accord Signed Between Zidan and Daghma Families After Fatal Shooting
A reconciliation ceremony was held in the town of Kfar Manda, located in northern Israel, between the Zidan and Daghma families. The agreement, known as "holding the banner of peace," was signed at the Al-Nour Mosque hall, marking the successful conclusion of mediation efforts to resolve a dispute.
The reconciliation follows the tragic killing of a young man, Mohammed Muwaffaq Zidan, approximately three months prior to the ceremony. The event was attended by members of both families, the peace delegation, and several local dignitaries.
The initiative aims to close the chapter on the conflict, move beyond the past, prevent further bloodshed, and promote values of tolerance and brotherhood among the residents of Kfar Manda.
