Car Drives Wrong Way, Hits Pedestrian in Beitar Illit

An unusual video circulating shows a car driving against traffic in Beitar Illit, a city in the West Bank. During the drive, the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.

The footage captures the pedestrian beginning to cross, at which point the oncoming car, traveling in the wrong direction, hits them. The condition of the pedestrian is not yet known. The video was reportedly filmed and shared on September 6, 2026.
