Yisrael Beiteinu Unveils Knesset List Featuring Security Figures and Bereaved Families

The Yisrael Beiteinu party unveiled its list of 25 candidates for the 26th Knesset at a celebratory event in Tel Aviv Expo, attended by over a thousand people. Party chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman heads the list, followed by Rafi Ben Shitrit, former mayor of Beit She'an and a member of the 'October Council' whose son fell on October 7th. Third on the list is Colonel (res.) Talia Lancrey, former deputy head of the National Security Council for counter-terrorism and home front defense. The list also includes incumbent MKs Oded Forer and Yulia Malinovsky, as well as Sharon Sharabi, brother of a hostage killed by Hamas and survivor of the October 7th massacre. Several other candidates are connected to the October 7th events, including relatives of victims and survivors, and individuals involved in hostage advocacy. The list incorporates security and reserve personnel, local authority heads, social activists, and representatives from local government. Notable additions include Lily Ben Ami, who advocates against violence towards women following her sister's murder, and David Azulai, head of the Metula local council who managed the civilian front during the war. The list also features figures from the tech and cyber security sectors, former Knesset members, and local council members.
