Naftali Bennett Vows to Fix Israel After 'Destructive' Government

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett declared that the government formed after the October 7th Hamas attacks has been "destructive," while a new government established on October 27th would "fix" the country. Speaking at an event to reveal his party's list of candidates, Bennett promised a "highway of action" unseen in Israel's history.

Bennett outlined specific policy proposals for his proposed government, including the immediate establishment of a state commission of inquiry minutes after the government is sworn in. He also pledged to draft ultra-Orthodox men into the military without quotas or special arrangements, and to declare Qatar an enemy state.

Bennett contrasted his approach to candidate selection with others, stating that while some sought "celebrities," his party chose individuals committed to their goals who would not yield to pressure. He leads the "Bayad" party.
