IDF Air Force to Strike Southern Lebanon, Citing Expected Explosions
The spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Sunday evening that the Air Force will conduct a series of preemptive strikes in southern Lebanon within the next hour. The IDF stated that due to extensive operational activity in the northern sector, loud explosions are expected to be heard across wide areas of northern Israel, including the Hula Valley, Ramim Ridge, and potentially in communities in the northern Golan Heights.
The military urged the public to remain calm, clarifying that the sounds will be the result of planned military operations and not a security incident within Israeli territory. Residents were advised to continue following the directives of the Home Front Command and local authorities.
