IDF Northern Command Warns Galilee Residents of Imminent Lebanon Operations
The Israel Defense Forces' Northern Command issued an alert to residents of Kiryat Shmona and other communities in the Galilee region on Tuesday evening, warning of expected military activity in Lebanon within the coming hours. Residents were informed that explosions might be heard in the area as a result of these anticipated operations across the border.
The command emphasized that there are currently no changes to the Home Front Command's directives and that civilian life in the region is continuing as normal. No special instructions have been issued to the public at this time, and residents are advised to continue their regular routines according to existing guidelines.
The update aims to prevent panic among northern residents, given the possibility of hearing sounds of explosions during the planned military actions in Lebanon. The IDF stated it is continuously monitoring developments in the northern sector and will provide any changes in public directives through official channels.
