After three days of quiet, Red Alert sirens sounded Wednesday in the settlement of Zרעית on the border strip because of concern about a hostile aircraft infiltration. The IDF said at first that the details were under review.
A few minutes later, Home Front Command announced that the incident had ended and that people in protected spaces could leave. The military then confirmed that the warning had been activated because of a false identification.
