Ford Recalls Over 800 Vehicles in Israel Due to Wiring Issue

D al Motors, the Israeli importer of Ford vehicles, has announced a recall for 863 Ford vehicles, including Bronco Raptor and Bronco models manufactured between 2021 and 2026. The recall addresses a potential defect in the engine compartment wiring harness cover, which could wear down due to friction, leading to an electrical short circuit.

Owners of the affected vehicles will receive a written notification via Israel Post once the replacement parts are available. The repair, which involves fixing the wiring harness according to manufacturer specifications, is expected to take approximately four hours. Ford advises owners to check the official Ford website or contact their customer service hotline to determine if their vehicle's license plate number is included in the recall.

The repair will be performed free of charge at authorized Ford service centers. Customers are required to schedule an appointment in advance. According to Israeli traffic regulations, failure to complete the recall within six months will result in the vehicle's license renewal being denied and will prevent any transfer of ownership.
