Knife Attack in South Tel Aviv Leaves One Injured, Two Suspects Detained
A stabbing attack occurred in southern Tel Aviv on September 6, 2026, resulting in one person being wounded. The victim sustained a head injury and was transported to Ichilov Hospital for medical treatment, according to the police press service. Police officers and MAGAV (Border Police) forces quickly initiated a search for the perpetrators. Two foreign nationals, estimated to be around 30 years old and reportedly of Eritrean origin, were apprehended shortly thereafter. During the search, law enforcement discovered a knife, believed to be the weapon used in the assault, which was seized as evidence. The detainees were taken to the police for questioning.
