Channel 14 Appoints Veteran Political Commentator Noam Adri
Israeli broadcaster Channel 14 has officially added veteran journalist and political commentator Noam Adri to its team of regular political analysts and commentators. Adri brings extensive professional experience in covering and understanding the Israeli political system, having previously served as chief editor for several news and current affairs programs.
For the past few months, Adri has been a familiar face to Channel 14 viewers, regularly appearing as a panelist on the "Sheva" program alongside hosts Yehuda Schlesinger and Yaakov Bardugo. This expanded collaboration will see him participating in various daily current affairs shows and contributing opinion pieces to the digital platform C14.
The management of Channel 14 expressed their pleasure with Adri's appointment, stating, "We are happy about Noam Adri's joining Channel 14 and are confident that his extensive experience and deep familiarity with the political system will be a significant addition to the channel's team of panelists and commentators."
The addition of Adri comes at a time when Channel 14 is a focal point of media discussion. Recently, an interview given by Sara Netanyahu, the Prime Minister's wife, to Channel 14 generated significant attention. Following criticism from colleagues and the public who deemed the interview too easy and lacking tough questions, the reporter who conducted the interview, Tal Meir, strongly defended herself against critics, denouncing what she called a "monopoly on professionalism."
