Gaza's Zeitoun Neighborhood Buries 100 Victims Recovered From Rubble

Palestinians in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood on Sunday morning mourned and buried approximately 100 individuals whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble of destroyed homes. The victims, predominantly women and children, belonged to the Malaka, Irhaim, Al-Bala'wi, and Salmi families.

The funeral procession began in front of the Imam Al-Shafi'i Mosque in Zeitoun, with hundreds of mourners participating. Family members and residents gathered to bid farewell to the bodies, which were draped in Palestinian flags.

Following the ceremony at the mosque, the procession proceeded to the Martyrs' Cemetery in the neighborhood, located near Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. Mass graves were prepared, and the bodies were laid to rest.
